Lea Michele: How She Found Out About Cory Monteith's Death

Just when you thought the sad circumstances surrounding Cory Monteith‘s death couldn’t get any sadder!!!

Lea Michele wasn’t in Vancouver with her boyfriend alleged fianc├â┬⌐ the night he died, but she was one of the first to be informed of his tragic passing.

She received the bad news in a phone call that night, while she was still in Los Angeles, and apparently the call came only minutes before rumors of Cory’s death started spreading through the press.

According to those close to her, the 26-year-old Glee star didn’t take the shocking news well.

One confidant said:

“Lea completely lost her mind. She went crazy, screaming and crying until 3 a.m… Lea has been inconsolable and feels like she’s been hit by a truck. She didn’t know he’d started using again.”

OMG! And then to find out he had heroin in his system!!! It’s so heartbreaking!!!

We cannot imagine how horrible it must be to be on the receiving end of such a life-altering phone call.

Another source says Lea kept herself as busy as possible since then by focusing on the funeral arrangements.

There aren’t words that describe how deeply Cory’s death has affected us all.
