It’s been little over a month since we watched the McKinley High class of 2012 walk across the stage and now, one of its stars is opening up on Glee’s upcoming season!
While Rachel Berry may be off to Broadway, Finn is honoring his late father by enlisting in the Army.
Actor Cory Monteith revealed that he wasn’t surprised about his character’s decision, which he found out mid-season!
Cory delved deeper into Finn’s storyline, stating:
“Finn would make a good soldier but I think he’s still got a lot to think about — he still has a lot going for him outside of the Army. His heart is still with Rachel and I think he has a lot of reasons to not be in the Army as well. I think he’d be torn as a soldier.”
We STILL can’t even bear the thought of Finn being whisked away from Rachel!
Cory went on to say that he hopes viewers of the show “root for the couple to reunite” and hopes that in the future, people will look back on Finchel as a “legendary couple in television.”
Well, we’d say they’ve already made their mark as just that! Finn and Rachel are totes the Winnie Cooper and Kevin Arnold of this generation!
