Cory Monteith To Be Honored At 2013 Emmys

Every year, the Emmys take a moment to honor those the TV world has lost in the In Memoriam segment.

But Cory Monteith died so young and tragically and touched so many lives that the awards show is planning a special tribute to the late Glee star.

Executive producer Ken Ehrlich says the team is hard at work trying to figure out “something that reflects an homage.” He says:

“What the extent of that is, or how we├óΓé¼Γäóre going to approach it├óΓé¼┬ª well, it├óΓé¼Γäós too early to tell.”

We understand it’s never easy handling such a sad subject, especially in such a joyous show. But we have faith they’ll find the perfect way to honor Cory’s memory.
