We already knew Cory Monteith and Lea Michele were deeply, deeply in love at the time of his tragic death, but according to reliable reports, they were possibly engaged too!
Sources reveal they had been discussing marriage and plans for a wedding, with Cory spending every chance he could to get with Lea in the weeks leading up to his fateful trip in Vancouver.
And as all the Gleeks know, even Cory’s character called Lea’s his “future wife” in Episode 16 of Season 4. Was life imitating art here??
Well, despite the wedding talk, one source insists they were never officially engaged, though this seems to be a conflicting idea among the insiders. Still, the time was clearly coming if their discussions had been so serious, making this tragedy 100% more depressing than before.
Our heart hurts so much for Lea and everyone else close to Cory. Love and light to you all…
