It’s going to be a long and hard road to normalcy for Cory Monteith‘s mom, Ann McGregor, after her son’s tragic passing.
But the Glee mama is finally taking the next step towards healing by speaking out on Twitter, less than 3 weeks after the sad news of Cory’s death.
Ann tweeted her thanks for all the fan support during this very difficult time, saying:
I would like to thank all of Cory's supporters at this extremely emotional time. Your support has been overwhelming … thank you !

She hasn’t spoken to any media about the 31-year-old actor’s passing, and wanted to confirm that any quotes appearing in the press were not her own:
The person releasing articles relating to my feelings and thoughts on how to take care of Cory’s ashes has never been in contact with me.

I have never met or spoken to this person He does not represent me or my wishes.

It’s been a brutal few weeks for this strong lady, but hopefully she can lean on Cory’s girlfriend, Lea Michele, during this very difficult time.
