
On Thursday, former Oklahoma City police officer Daniel Holtzclaw was found guilty on 18 counts of sexual battery, rape, and other offenses.
He faced 36, including ones for forced oral sodomy and burglary.

The jury — comprised of eight men and four women, all of whom are Caucasian — recommended a total of 263 years in prison for the 29-year-old.
Formal sentencing begins next month.
Naturally, several celebrities took to social media to voice their opinion on Holtzclaw’s verdict.
While many championed the decision, others are angry that the media isn’t aggressively reprimanding his actions.
