Demi Lovato's Very New Boyfriend Max Ehrich 'Plans To Propose' Post-Pandemic, Says Source!

Demi Lovato and her new boyfriend Max Ehrich have been doing a lot of bonding during the coronavirus quarantine — but are they already prepared for the bonds of holy matrimony?

It appears so, according to an Us Weekly source who says the Young and the Restless alum is already planning on proposing to the superstar singer after the pandemic is over!

The insider told the outlet:

“Max plans to propose to Demi after this whole pandemic is resolved and their families wouldn’t be surprised by the proposal. They think they make a great couple.”

Wow, that was fast!

In late March, a source told E! News that the pair had been “seeing each other for a few weeks now,” so it’s safe to assume they’ve been dating for about a month as of this writing. While we can all agree that a month of dating isn’t very long, the two have apparently been spending most of that month under quarantine together, and we can also all agree that one quarantine month feels more like seven normal months.

So maybe they’re ready for an engagement after all?

A second Us insider certainly thinks so, telling the publication that the 27-year-old singer and 28-year-old actor have been “getting really serious” amid the isolation period. This source noted:

“The quarantine has been really great for Demi and her and Max have gotten so close. She’s doing a great job at staying sober, healthy and taking care of herself… [Max] a really nice guy and they are happy together.”

That we can confirm thanks to an accidental appearance Demi made on Max’s Instagram Live stream a few weeks ago.

As we reported, the actor was playing the piano for followers on IG Live when the Disney alum came over to place a blanket on his shoulders — and walked right into the frame where fans could see her. Max immediately mouthed “I’m on live” to Demi before she scurried away giggling.
