Donald Trump Jr. and his girlfriend Kimberly Guilfoyle stopped by The View to promote his new dumb book, Triggered: How The Left Thrives On Hate And Wants To Silence Us, and he was quite easily triggered into lashing out at pretty much every cohost over criticism of his family.
The headache occurred on the 5000th episode of the show on Thursday when Junior joined the round table with the former Fox News host and tried to defend his father, President Donald Trump — who, as fans know, is frequently scrutinized on the program.
After biting their tongues while the 41-year-old explained the message of his book, the cohosts quickly brought up the deterioration of the Trump administration and the First Family’s mob-like responses to it.
Abby Huntsman got the ball rolling by lampooning Junior for sharing the name of the whistle blower who galvanized the impeachment conversation by retweeting The Drudge Report’s article that released the whistle blower’s name, noting how “intimidat[ing] someone like that” is “something dictators do.”

In response, DJ said he felt like he was simply acting on his duty “as a private citizen” to make the name public. He also pointed out his family routinely receives threats — so, what’s the big deal if he subtly threatens a whistle blower?
*eye roll*
Things only got worse when the panel’s “sacrificial Republican” Meghan McCain asked Junior, whose father had previously shaded her late father, John McCain:
“You’ve put a lot of people through a lot of pain…does all this make you feel good?”
The businessman didn’t answer the question, but instead pointed out how his dad “is under attack everyday” before adding:
“As a conservative I would hope you [Meghan] would appreciate that conservatives haven’t been known for fighting back for a very long time.”
Right, they just yell at their opponents until it’s time to stop talking — which is basically what DJ did for the remainder of the segment.

The real drama came when Whoopi Goldberg echoed Meg’s points, which inspired Donnie boy to bring up the time the Oscar winner offered a defense of disgraced director and accused child rapist Roman Polanski in the past, saying his alleged actions weren’t “rape-rape.”
Junior also fired shots at Joy Behar for her wearing blackface in a Halloween costume during the 1970s — which distracted the hosts long enough to make it to another commercial break. (Whoopi insisted Joy’s costume was NOT black face, BTW.)
Ch-ch-check out the masterful misdirection (below).
