On what should have been one of the very best days of Donald Trump‘s presidency, the Cheeto-in-Chief was loudly booed at a baseball game on Sunday night, bringing himself embarrassment on a national stage.
Hours earlier, the Prez had announced the death of an extremely high-profile ISIS terrorist leader after a US Special Forces-led attack in Syria — something that would usually mark a high point in any President’s term. But Trump is so unbelievably unpopular that just hours later, he was back to being the most hated person in Washington, D.C. Life comes at ya fast, we suppose.

It all went down last night at Game 5 of the World Series, where the visiting Houston Astros faced the host Washington Nationals in America’s capital city. Trump had announced days ago that he’d be showing up for this one, and he did — though through a back entrance at the stadium, and after the ceremonial first pitch was thrown, avoiding potential major embarrassment by not having to be out on the field to receive the crowd’s hatred.
Nevertheless, political reporters painstakingly followed his trip to the ballpark, dutifully setting up the scene for one of the more embarrassing moments of his presidency (below):

That is, uh, quite the guest list in that suite. Are these the only people who still want to be seen in public with Trump?! Alas, poor Melania Trump…

Our President probably thought he saved himself the embarrassment by staying off the field, but even as he snuck into his suite to watch the game, he was still chewed out by thousands of fans in attendance.
Watch the boos rain down upon him (below) — and then, as a wonderful Monday morning bonus, take in the amazing chants of “Lock Him Up!” which spread like wildfire throughout the stadium, too:

Can anyone say SCHADENFREUDE?!
But maybe the single most satisfying moment of the entire night was the split second where Donald himself realized thousands of stadium-goers actually strongly dislike him, and don’t want to see him on the Jumbotron (below):

Awww! The former reality TV show host clearly isn’t too happy to be at the game any more, now, is he?
We just hate that for ya, Donald! (Not really though. LOLz!)

There were several other creative counter-protests throughout the game last night, too. In the fifth inning, a “Veterans for Impeachment” sign managed to sneak its way down behind home plate (below):

Love it!!!
And fans sitting on balcony in the outfield overlooking the game from afar made a can’t-miss sign to welcome President Trump to the ballpark, too (below):

Amen!
Honestly, Sunday night was pretty satisfying for those of us (sane people) who realize how absurd and incompetent Donald Trump really is.

But seriously… we’re ready for him to tweet something like this (below), denying all protests and deflecting the issue in some truly mind-boggling way:
Me waiting for tweet from Donald Trump saying they were actually chanting “knock it off” about the impeachment. OR that it was a stadium filled with human scum. Not sure where this will go… pic.twitter.com/2zhtwNu27o

LOLz!! Very funny… but sadly it might be too close to the truth!
Regrettably, Trump hasn’t tweeted anything about the baseball game, or the protests, as of early Monday morning. We’ll update you if he does.

BTW, the Astros beat the Nationals in Trump’s presence last night, giving Houston a 3-2 lead in the best-of-seven series and sending both teams back to Texas for Game 6. That one goes down at 8:07 p.m. ET on Tuesday.
Think he will want to see if he’d receive a better welcome in Texas?
