It’s hard to argue anyone deserved TIME magazine’s “Person Of The Year” over Donald Trump.
Not only did he swindle win the presidential election in the biggest political upset in history, but he did it by acting like a reality star rather than anything close to a politician.
Between treating every debate like a Comedy Central roast, tweeting inaccurate information on the reg, undergoing the biggest political sex scandal in the past decade, and STILL clinching the presidency… it’s no doubt the bombastic businessman won 2016.

However, we’re afraid his presidential portrait on TIME magazine very poorly reflects his campaign tactics and behavior — so with the utmost respect, we made our own versions of the cover that we believe are much more accurate depictions of the President-elect!
