When you have the stamp of approval from Oprah, it’s pretty hard NOT to score big!
Dr. Mehmet Oz‘s talk show is doing extremely well in the ratings and even improving the ratings of many network’s afternoon news programs as the lead-in show.
Dr. Oz even took the third place spot in the second week airing after Oprah herself and her other protege Dr. Phil.
Pretty impressive! John Weiser, Sony’s president of distribution says of Dr. Oz:
“Dr. Oz is a man of the people. Viewers feel connected to him, and they really engage with the information he delivers. The timing is right for Dr. Oz. The American public is more interested in their health than ever before and with the difficult economy, a lot of people want to take control of their own health care and understand simple but smart ways to take better care of themselves.”
