Drake & Rihanna's Mystery Countdown Is OFFICIALLY A Prank... But It's Not The Only Hoax To Go Viral!

…and it looks like it was too good to be true.
Drake and Rihanna made Internet waves on Tuesday when music fans noticed a mysterious new website called www.DrakeandRihanna.com pop up online.
While a source close to the newly official couple claimed the countdown leading to Friday, September 9 at midnight EST was just a well-timed prank… that was sadly confirmed to be fact on Wednesday.
Apparently, comedian Branden Miller├óΓé¼ΓÇ╣ — who you probably recognize more as his character Joanne the Scammer — was upset that the Views rapper took time to present the Anti singer with her Video Vanguard Award at the VMAs on Sunday, but couldn’t even be bothered to take a selfie with him/her!
Branden/Joanne replaced the countdown with a video alerting viewers to his/her master plan a day after it went viral… but this is far from the only viral hoax in the history of the Internet…
