Gabi, 42 — yes, 42! — is nine years older than husband Dwayne Wade. The Being Mary Jane actress says age ain’t nothin’ but a number for her and the basketball star.
But when it comes to prioritizing career over having a family, she says:

“The reality is that women are discriminated against in the workplace for being mothers. As much as there are strides being made ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ you get pregnant, your career takes a hit. You can’t have a bad day. Don’t you dare cry at work. Don’t raise your voice. Especially if you’re a black woman in corporate America├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥now you’re ‘the angry black woman.'”

NFL sideline reporter and Dancing With The Stars co-host Erin Andrews has certainly seen her fair share of ups and downs as a female in the industry. Her infamous stalker incident is one that she says she’ll never get over. We love that the blonde bombshell never let it stop her, personally or professionally!
She opened up to the mag saying:

“I happen to be one of those women who thinks it is possible to have it all. All of my friends from college and high school have three kids now. I’m not even engaged! I hope to have that, but look at what I’ve done: I’ve hopefully had a hand in opening the door for other women. I believe family is the next step.”

As a best-selling author, online media mogul, and the newest member of E! NewsMaria Menounos says that with everything going on, it’s hard to find the time to have kids. Um… we can imagine!
The 37-year-old Greek goddess recently took over for Giuliana Rancic over at E! and says it wasn’t without some criticism:

“When I was being sought after by E!, I made it very clear to them that I didn’t want to be coming over to take somebody’s job, and I was assured that wasn’t the case.”

It’s no secret that women are held to a different standard in Hollywood, especially as they age. But these kick-ass ladies are facing these issues head-on and totally coming out on top. WERK, mommas!
We can’t wait to read the entire issue that hits newsstands on September 15!
