Evangeline Lilly Cozies Up To Paul Rudd On The Ant-Man Set - And Her New Look May Reveal Her BIG Future In The Marvel Universe!

We just got our first look at Paul Rudd on the set of Ant-Man, and already we get a peek at his Marvel-ous co-star!
Evangeline Lilly shared this pic (above) of the joy of getting’ Rudd-y, tweeting:

But gurl ALSO shared a pic of her new hairdo for the film, and the hint was not LOST on us! Check out the leading look and what it might mean…AFTER THE JUMP!!!

That’s Evangeline’s new bob next to an illustration of the founding Avenger known as Wasp from way back in 1968!
The resemblance is, well, let’s just say the differences are pretty darn small!
Wasp’s name in the comics is Janet Van Dyne, and Evangeline is playing Hope Van Dyne. But we know she’s playing the daughter of original Ant-Man Hank Pym (played by Michael Douglas)!
So we’re guessing that Janet is her mom and may have actually been the original Wasp – and maybe the itty bitty apple didn’t fall far from the tree!
If this is true, she’ll be only the second female super hero to be brought to life by Marvel Studios. And that’s getting us more than a little excited for things to come!
