Girlfriend is in for a whole lotta change these days!
With a baby on board, Fergie is getting everything in place which includes her name!
We all know Fergie isn’t her legal name, but apparently it’s about to be. The momma-to-be is all set to legally change her first name from Stacy Ann to Fergie, but that’s not all!
Fergie will also be legally changing her last name to Duhamel!
She’s going on five years of marriage with Josh Duhamel so we certainly understand her desire to switch over. Plus, she’s been known as Fergie for, like, ever now.
And that’s apparently her argument for both, but her name won’t be changed just because that’s what she wants. To get her whole name legally changed, she will have to publish a notice in a local newspaper for four consecutive weeks.
A hearing is reportedly scheduled for August 16th when it is expected she’ll be granted the name change if she completes the requirement.
We’re just glad we don’t have to get used to a totally different name, Fergie!
