General Hospital’s Steve Burton Takes Ex-Wife To Court - Makes Heartbreaking Co-Parenting Claim!

Steve Burton and his ex-wife Sheree are up for another round of messy legal issues.

Less than three years after the General Hospital star settled his contentious divorce after 23 years of marriage, which came as the result of a WILD cheating scandal that resulted in Sheree getting pregnant, the two are once again at odds over a kid. But this time it’s over Brooklyn, the daughter they share together.

On Tuesday, TMZ reported the exes are back in court over a custody issue… Steve is claiming Sheree is refusing him time with the 11-year-old, despite a custody settlement they came to during their divorce! According to the outlet, Steve says he and Sheree, who has since remarried and taken on husband Justin Amador’s last name, have joint legal and physical custody of their daughter, but that she’s refusing to adhere to their custody arrangement and refused him time with Brooklyn last July. In docs, he said Sheree has “engaged in a pattern of unilateral decision making and deliberate obstruction that has effectively stripped Steve of his court-ordered parenting time.”

He went on to claim Sheree enrolled Brooklyn in a six-week program in California that directly conflicts with their custody schedule, and refused to allow him his vacation time with the youngster. He claimed he’s told his ex he “felt manipulated by her actions,” and that she put Brooklyn in the middle of their conflict.

Per the outlet, Steve has officially asked the court to order Sheree to comply and pay up $5k for her actions.
