Looks like someone might’ve missed the memo to STAY HOME!
George Stephanopoulos has ticked off some of his neighbors in the Hamptons for what they see as improper social distancing techniques.

The reporter’s wife, Ali Wentworth, was diagnosed with the virus herself three weeks prior to the incident in question. After Stephanopoulos was seen at a pharmacy in the area, one neighbor took to social media to express her dismay. In a since-deleted Facebook post, she wrote:
“If you know someone’s wife has corona and the wife has been very very sick with it, do you think that the husband should be out at pharmacies picking up prescriptions when the pharmacy delivers and does curbside pickup? … Even though he is wearing a mask, would it still be disconcerting for you to see that he has been standing several feet away from you for ten minutes while you talked to the pharmacist? … If your answer is yes than [sic] please tweet GEORGE STEPHANOPOLOUS [sic] to stay the hell home!!!!!!!!!”
After it was revealed George himself also had contracted COVID-19, the neighbor in question posted on Facebook again, sharing a photo of the 59-year-old walking his dog on the local golf course. The pic was accompanied by another criticism from the neighbor:
“Thanks for letting me know that now George Stephanopolous [sic] has admitted he tested positive for Corona. Below is a picture of George trespassing on the Maidstone golf course on Saturday. He was not wearing his mask. … We still don’t know if dogs can transmit. He is also trespassing on a private golf course, entering through a lane where it clearly says PRIVATE CLUB NO TRESPASSING. So is this a good guy or what?”
According to Page Six, the course “is closed to golfing but members are allowed to walk dogs there — provided they practice social distancing.” However, it’s unclear as to whether Stephanopoulos is indeed a member. The outlet reiterated the TV host was wearing protective gear for his trip to the pharmacy and “there was no one else around” when he visited the golf course.

Stephanopoulos told his Good Morning America coworkers his case of coronavirus has presented as asymptomatic. He said on the show:
“I’ve never had a fever, never had chills, never had a headache, never had a cough, never had shortness of breath. I’m feeling great.”
Great, but probably still a good idea to keep a healthy distance from your neighbors!?
