Modeling is serious business — and Gigi Hadid will physically remove anyone who makes a mockery out of it.
That’s exactly what happened when a catwalk crasher stormed Chanel’s Paris Fashion Week show on Tuesday and ended up being confronted by the 24-year-old in front of everyone.
The prankster, who some outlets have identified as YouTuber and comedian Marie S’Infiltre, crashed the runway at the Grand Palais during the finale and started walking with the actual models.

She attempted to blend in while dressed in a black and white tweed suit and a bowler hat, but kind of ended up sticking out like a sore thumb:
Unsurprisingly, few were fooled by the intruder’s “funny” strut. After security attempted to seize her, she tried to escape through a different part of the catwalk.
Only Hadid (pictured below in all black) wasn’t about to let her get away.
The former high school athlete blocked the prankster from running off and went on to escort her off stage.

It ends on a hilarious note: the last thing we see in the recording is a horde of models slowly closing in on the subdued prankster like a pack of hangry flamingos.
We assume the comedian was never seen again.

Social media spectators couldn’t get enough of the hilarious incident. Instagram users left comments like:

Despite the hiccup, the show was a success. Viewers in the crowd — which included the likes of Cardi B and Anna Wintour — enjoyed seeing the hot looks from the brand’s spring-summer 2020 womenswear collection. The show also marked Virginie Viard‘s first Paris Fashion Week show as Chanel’s creative director — a role she took on following Karl Lagerfeld‘s death.
After this craziness, we’re pretty sure Gigi deserves to be promoted to the world’s first supermodel slash head of security!
