Good Samaritan Rescues Puppy Heading Towards Doom In Trash Truck!

Who would do such a thing?!
That’s what one employee from the Muncie Sanitary District was wondering when he found a puppy that had been tossed away in the garbage.
The worked said he heard a whimpering in the back of the trash truck he works on. After searching around, he found the head of a puppy sticking out of a blue trash bag.
The man saw the 6-week-old puppy was shaking, and so he brought it up front – blasting the heat.
City officials say the owner of the puppy has been cited and could face some serious charges that might land the owner in some hot water such as charges of animal cruelty and neglect.
Some well deserved charges if you ask us!
The owner said she thought the puppy was dead and threw it away. Obviously she was VERY wrong.
The puppy was transported to a clinic where it was found it was suffering from starvation and low blood sugar. Thankfully the pup is expected to make a full recovery.
The trash collector officially adopted the puppy on Wednesday and named him Garby.
We hope the two have a long and fruitful life together!!!
