Gordon Ramsay Being Sued By His Mother-In-Law

Looks like more legal troubles for Gordon Ramsay.

The Hell’s Kitchen chef is being sued by his mother-in-law Greta Hutcheson for breach of contract, unfair dismissal, breach of working times, and failure to pay redundancies.

Greta’s son and grandson are also suing Gordon for similar charges.

Sheesh.

Last year, Gordon had a falling out with his father-in-law Chris Hutcheson after he was abruptly fired. Hutcheson ran the business side of Gordon’s empire, but accused his son-in-law of “violent mood swings,” and even implying that Gordon may have been drugs.

On Gordon’s 44th birthday, the chef claims that the mother of his wife, Tana, sent her a letter that said she was not allowed to visit her. The leader read:

“Tana, you are not welcome anywhere near our door. I cannot believe that you have done this to your father. Until you dispose of that man, you are not welcome back.”

Gordon fought back and published an open letter saying that his wife was “in floods of tears,” and begged his mother-in-law to visit his wife. He wrote:

“You’re punishing your daughter and our four children for all the wrong reasons.”

Wow. This is heartbreaking. It’s amazing how fame and money can get in the way of family. We don’t know who’s in the right here, but we have a feeling all parties are to blame. We just hope that they can eventually put their differences aside and work together for the sake of their children and grandchildren.
