Grey’s Anatomy might have to be renamed Anatomy after this season.
According to show creator Shonda Rhimes, season 10 may well be star Ellen Pompeo‘s last!
And she may not be leaving alone. With original cast members Patrick Dempsey, Sandra Oh, Justin Chambers, and Chandra Wilson also on the chopping block, Meredith Grey might be able to get a group rate discount!
If one of the stars is leaving, Shonda says the news will come soon. She says:
“Last time they kept me guessing up until almost the last minute, which was really stressful. This time I asked to know much sooner, so that we could plan for it.
If one of the Originals is going to be leaving I want to give them the beautiful exit they deserve. I don├óΓé¼Γäót want to be kept guessing about what├óΓé¼Γäós going to happen.”
We’ll be sad to see the Originals go. They should ALL get together and star in a spinoff called The Originals!
