Did Hailey Bieber just extend another subtle olive branch to Selena Gomez?
It appears so, as fans noticed the 23-year-old liked an Instagram video of the American Music Awards performer getting ready backstage before the opening the big show on Sunday night!
Considering all of the drama that went down on social media between Justin Bieber‘s ex-girlfriend and his current wife less than a month ago, this is kind of a huge deal!

Just like countless other stars at the AMAs, Selly slayed her hair and makeup looks both on the red carpet and on stage. Her makeup artist, Hung Vanngo, captured his good handy work with the buzzworthy video in question, (below):
Yasss! We’re loving the sultry, metallic glam!
We weren’t the only ones feeling the look either, because it was none other than Mrs. Bieber herself who decided to show Gomez some love with a double-tap on the vid. And, of course, nothing as noteworthy as this gets by their followers!

As we mentioned at the top, these two women have had their fair share of misunderstandings on the social media platform, but this honestly comes off as a pretty direct show of support to us!
And after Selena got a (kinda) matching tattoo with her hubby, too!

In fact, shortly after Selly debuted Lose You To Love Me (inspired by her tumultuous years-long romance with the Biebs) and all of the drama that transpired afterwards, Hailey was quick to try and smooth things over.
Our readers will recall the former Miz Baldwin liked a pic their mutual friend Raquelle Stevens posted with the singer, Ashley Cook, and Courtney Lopez, out celebrating the release of the aforementioned ballad and follow-up record, Look At Me Now.
Of course, it doesn’t exactly mean she’s the biggest fan of the song’s lyrics themselves. An E! News source close to the Biebers explained they actively try to not pay them any mind:
“Of course Justin and Hailey have heard Selena’s new song and they are both trying to not give any reaction to her lyrics referencing Justin. It isn’t ideal for Hailey but she understands the creative process of writing music and that Justin had a past.”
And odds are, the couple probably didn’t watch the starlet’s two, emotional AMAs performances, either. Or, maybe the like spotted around the world suggests otherwise? Who knows!
