We wonder what J.K. Rowling thinks about this??
As we previously reported, Playboy decided to officially bring back nudity, starting with its March/April issue, after banning it a year ago. For the Naked Is Normal issue, the publication snagged Harry Potter alum Scarlett Byrne, who stripped down and penned an essay, titled The Feminist Mystique.

Miz Byrne, who played Pansy Parkinson in the magical franchise, took to Instagram to promote her seXXXy Playboy debut as she wrote:
“I’m very proud to be a part of the March/April issue of Playboy. I penned a short essay along with my pictorial titled, The Feminist Mystique. A big thank you to @Playboy, the creative team, and @cooperbhefner for such a unique opportunity. #NakedIsNormal”
Fierce.
However, we feel like we should mention that The Vampire Diaries actress is engaged to the magazine’s Chief Creative Officer, Cooper Hefner. In fact, it’s Hugh Hefner‘s son who is leading the charge in bringing back T and A to the mag as he thought the ban was a mistake in the first place!
Nothing like pimping out your own beautiful fiancée to get magazine sales. WE TEASE!
Nepotism aside, Scarlett absolutely SLAYED in her photoshoot for the nudie mag. Not to mention, the up-and-comer is quite the feminist as she noted in her essay:
“Many in society continue to diminish female intellect, deny them ownership of their sexuality, reject feminism and all else that makes being a woman so powerful. It starts with equal pay and goes all the way to free the nipple… As we fight for these important issues, you begin to realize how ridiculous it is that the world makes a big deal out of whether or not I’m wearing a top. It’s time we let women own everything that men have had permission to occupy by themselves for far too long.”
Hear! Hear!
Be sure to ch-ch-check out some of the 26-year-old’s outtakes from the shoot for yourself in the batch (above). We promise, you WON’T regret it!
