
The federal government is recommending that a small group of dolphins living near Hawaii be put on the endangered species list.
This species of dolphin is called the “false killer whale” even though it’s a dolphin and doesn’t look like a killer whale…hmm interesting.
A study found that there are many threats to these dolphins, and that there are only about 150-170 left in the wild and they are living up to 87 miles off Hawaii.
We must protect these false killer whales!
