Well this show just jumped the shark…
Nick Viall spent his Summer looking for love in Paradise, but it wasn’t until he became The Bachelor that he finally encountered a wild animal.
That’s because as you may have noticed from the ABC promo pics, one of Nick’s suitors decided to stand out in the crowd by dressing up as her favorite animal — a dolphin!

Unfortunately for Alexis Waters (man, even her name is on the bottle-nose)… it’s just too bad she accidentally showed up dressed as a shark!!
According to Chris Harrison, the 23-year-old aspiring dolphin trainer wanted to show her love for the aquatic mammal as the season’s only costumed contestant.
However, while speaking to Entertainment Weekly on Friday, the host explained how he was actually the one who had to break the bad news to Alexis, saying:
“The only problem with the dolphin girl is — if you look closely — she was wearing a shark costume. She just didn’t know that it was a shark costume. She thought it was a dolphin costume, and I had to explain to her how the fins are clearly different and a dolphin fin is curved and a shark fin is straight. I said, ‘You have a shark costume on,’ and she was like, ‘No, but I love dolphins.'”
Aw, honey. Sharks DO love dolphins. Just not in a nice way…
We think it’s safe to say she still has a ways to go before she makes it to SeaWorld.
With that said, Lindsay Yenter made it to the Final Rose Ceremony after exiting her limo in a wedding gown during Sean Lowe‘s season — so anything’s possible!
