Hayden Panettiere's Family Determined To Get Her BF 'Behind Bars' After Latest Alleged Assault

Hayden Panettiere‘s family is determined to get justice after yet another domestic violence dispute involving the star and her boyfriend Brian Hickerson.

As we reported, the Nashville actress was allegedly assaulted by her partner on Valentine’s Day with police reports claiming Hickerson threw Panettiere around and then “struck” her “with a closed fist on the right side of her face.” Brian was arrested by the Teton County Sheriff’s Office on Friday and released on a $5,000 bond later that day.

This incident, along with a proven pattern of destructive behavior from the two, has become more than enough motivation for concerned family members to try to put an end to the troubling situation. According to what a source divulged to Radar Online, the 30-year-old starlet’s family “want Brian behind bars” but there’s a slight hiccup in their plan. Apparently, Hayden “has reservations” about helping to put him there.

Keep in mind, she did stay with him even after he was charged with felony domestic violence for an incident in which cops were called to their home and found both beaten and bloodied after a night of drinking turned violent. Her response, unfortunately, seems to track well with something we see all too often with individuals in abusive relationships. Research shows that on average, it takes a person seven times to leave their abuser.

However, the source claims this time will be different because “plenty of people” saw the attack. Speaking more to the family’s plans to see Brian pay for his alleged mistakes:

“There are witnesses this time [to what happened] and Hayden’s family is finally encouraged.”

Before this latest troubling incident, the insider claimed both Hickerson and Panettiere had vowed to quit alcohol:

“He had told Hayden after his last arrest and when they got back together that he was taking a break from drinking, but Brian started drinking again and this is what happened. He has serious anger issues and when he drinks it brings it out, it magnifies it 1000 percent.”

Hayden’s loved ones are desperate to keep her on the right path and make better choices moving forward:

“Family is trying to be supportive and to help her to keep her from wavering.”

We surely hope her inner circle’s love and legal support will be the difference-maker this time around so Hayden can get back to what truly matters in her life. As you know, Panettiere shares daughter Kaya, 4, with her ex-fiancé Wladimir Klitschko.
