This is beyond appalling.
Hunters are traveling across the globe to kill the gentle giants. Some are even taking their entire families!
The giraffe is dangerously nearing extinction and their populace has become limited to certain Afican countries.
In countries where giraffe hunting is legal, hunters have paid up to 10,000 pounds (~15,500 USD) to hunt the animal.
In these countries, the populace is increasing however poaching remains a factor at an alarming rate.
Poachers have been known to set traps to ensnare the giraffe’s neck or feet, causing agonizing pain for as long as days before they killed.
And to bring your entire family to hunt them?!
This needs to end.
