Looks like karma is rolling around to bite Ozzy Osbourne!
The longtime rockstar is trying to convert a barn on his $8+ million Buckinghamshire estate. He wants to turn the 17th century structure into a two bedroom home.
A council might refuse his planning permission though, because the barn is a home to a colony of brown long-eared bats.
They’re a protected species. So that’s a bit of a roadblock.
Sounds like karma, because back in ’82, Ozzy bit the head off a live bat someone threw onto stage at a Black Sabbath show.
Even though Ozzy thought the bat was rubber, it still happened and must’ve been awful for both him AND the bat.
Reminiscing about the incident, he later said:
“Something felt wrong. Very wrong. For a start my mouth was instantly full of this warm, gloopy liquid. Then the head in my mouth twitched.”
That sounds so insanely gross.
Ozzy was taken to a hospital afterwards and tested for rabies.
So we guess maybe the bats in his barn is just the universe saying “we still remember ’82.”
