Earlier today we got wind of a story that portrayed Jennifer Lopez‘s manager, Benny Medina, as a bit of a diva while at the Samsung Hope for Children Gala in honor of Bill Clinton in NYC on Tuesday night.
Sources say harsh words exchanged between Benny and his limo driver made the driver quit on the spot, then Benny went on to cause more dramz by demanding 5 gift bags for himself.
HOWEVER, we have since exclusively learned that these reports were not true after all!
The FACTS are that Benny arrived behind his star client in a vehicle provided by Samsung and there was no conflict with the driver.
Due to a lack of organization after arriving on the red carpet, Benny was forced to determine in a short amount of time what the organizers of the event were requesting his client to do.
It sounds like Benny was just doing his job and trying to do the best he could for J.Lo in the middle of a stressful situation.
As for the gift bags, sources who were WITH Benny at the event insist he never even saw a gift bag, while Jennifer and her husband left with just one.
We hope we cleared the air up on that one! Sorry for the mix-up, Benny!
