We know it can’t be easy, but the cast of Glee is being incredibly strong as they return to set without their former costar.
And it seems Cory Monteith‘s death has affected everyone involved in the show in a different way.
Jane Lynch recently opened up about what it’s been like to be back at work after the tragic passing of the young star. Brave faces or not, Glee certainly can’t be the same without him.
She said:
“Everybody’s doing differently. You know, it’s tough. Everybody had a relationship with him and we all express our grief in different ways so I’ll only speak for myself. I love him and I honor [him], and every day I go to work, I walk by his trailer and I go, ‘He should be in there.'”
We’re so blown away with the strength all the cast members have shown during this difficult time.
And it seems they’ve been so strong in part because of each other. They truly have come together as family as Jane added:
“We had a nice memorial. The cast and the crew, we all got together and we remembered Cory and honored [him]. We went back to the work and the wheels turn in spite of what happened and I’m just glad we had that memorial so we were able to come together and be a family.”
We’re not sure if the tribute episode filming has begun, but we wish them all the best of luck in getting through the emotional moment.
We’re sure Cory would be proud.
