In her upcoming interview on ABC with Robin Roberts, In The Spotlight, Janet Jackson reveals that she places the blame for brother Michael Jackson‘s death on his live-in doctor, the shady Conrad Murray.
“He was the one who was administering,” she says. “I think he should be responsible.”
Janet also recounts the day she found out Michael had died. The singer was in her New York City home when one of her assistants told her Michael was in the hospital after watching CNN. She made phone calls to her family, including mother Katherine and siblings Tito and LaToya.
“I told them to call me back when they got to the hospital. And I remember thinking, nobody’s calling me back, so I tried calling again and that’s how I found out he was no longer… I couldn’t believe it. It just didn’t ring true to me. It felt like a dream… its still difficult for me to believe. Its, you know, you have to accept what it is.”
Dr. Conrad Murray hasn’t been charged with Michael’s death, but it has been ruled a homicide by the police. Murray stands by his claim that he didn’t give Michael anything that “should have” killed him.
Janet says of her brother: “A day doesn’t go by that I don’t think about him.”
Sad, sad.
