Jared Leto Doesn't Think A Gay Leading Man Can Make It In Hollywood!

no title
We know a few celebs who’d beg to differ!
While reviews for Suicide Squad haven’t been as marvelous as they could be… that doesn’t mean the cast is about to stop promoting the DC Comics tent-pole film.
In fact, Jared Leto may have gone a tad too far while talking up his Joker on the cover of GQ Style this month — because he just shared some potentially controversial views on homosexuality with the mag!

The 30 Seconds to Mars frontman has never shied away from embracing the LGBT community in film, but does that mean he necessarily thinks an out actor could make it in movies??
After initialing saying that he thinks America would accept a gay leading man… Jared clarified that he at least hopes that’s the case, saying:

“I definitely don’t think a gay leading man would have the same opportunities as a straight leading man. I don’t think that. Not for a single second. I don’t know if that’s offensive or not, but that’s my thought right now. It shouldn’t be that way. I don’t think you’ll have as many opportunities. And I think you could say the same for minorities. What a word, ‘minority.’ Have we taken that word off the list yet? ‘Cause it should be. Anyway, no, I think that this is still a very conservative business.”

It may not be pleasant to see written out… but he probably has a point.
After all, there’s a reason the closet still exists!
Do U think Hollywood could handle a few more homosexuals??
