WEtv Has 'No Plans' To Cast Jenelle Evans & David Eason On 'Marriage Boot Camp' -- But Sources Say He's Being Psychologically Evaluated For The Show!

Jenelle Evans and David Eason might not be on Marriage Boot Camp

It seems like WEtv is getting a wee bit sketchy about its plans to put Jenelle Evans and David Eason on Marriage Boot Camp.
On Wednesday, the cable network wrote a tweet claiming that there were “no plans” to cast the controversial reality couple on the marriage counseling show, contrary to reports claiming otherwiseThe network’s official Twitter account wrote:
WE Tv denies casting Jenelle Evans
The casting rumors came a day after MTV announced it was firing Evans from Teen Mom 2, due to the outrage over the 27-year-old’s husband seemingly confessing to shooting and killing her dog, Nugget, because it “snapped at” their two-year-old daughter, Ensley.

On the heels of her firing, TMZ wrote that the mother-of-three was already in talks to star in the upcoming season of Boot Camp — and while WEtv has since claimed otherwise, the outlet is standing firm that there’s a contract in place for both Jenelle and David to be on the show.
While the production is said to be very much wanting to work with both parents, it also wants to make sure the 30-year-old pipe welder isn’t a danger to the crew, other cast members, and, of course, his wife.

So, David’s contract includes one big caveat: before they put him on the show, they want the admitted dog killer evaluated by a psychologist to determine if he’s a safety risk. If the psychologist doesn’t give the gun enthusiast a pass, TMZ claims, he will not be on the show and neither will Jenelle.
At least, that was the plan before news broke of the couple’s Boot Camp casting. Now, David might not even get a chance to prove that he’s mentally stable — because production sources now think there’s a chance WEtv will pull the plug on its plan after all.

TMZ notes that the network was flooded with waves of negative comments after the story was first reported on Wednesday. As of now, the plan to cast the couple still in motion — despite the network’s tweet claiming otherwise — but WEtv is definitely being cautious moving forward.
We’d sure hope so, because David’s mental instability and history of violence is no joke. We mean, this is what he wrote on social media after he senselessly beat and fatally shot his wife’s tiny french bulldog:

“I’m all about protecting my family, it is my lifes mission. Some people are worth killing or dying for and my family means that much to me. You can hate me all you want but this isnt the first time the dog bit Ensley aggressively. The only person that can judge weather or not a animal is a danger to MY CHILD is ME.”

That’s how he felt about a dog who snipped at his daughter all because the tot stuck her face right in the pup’s face.
Just imagine what he’d do to a therapist who asks him about his childhood…
