This week, a group of lucky Cleveland Heights High School government students were treated to a surprise discussion with an inspirational political darling…
Jennifer Lawrence!
The Oscars-winning actress, who recently joined the non-partisan grassroots anti-corruption organization Represent, met with thirty Heights High juniors and seniors on Thursday.

After a rousing discussion on politics, students were surprised by “how informed” J.Law was on the subject. Senior Londyn Crenshaw told local press:
“It was really amazing how informed Ms. Lawrence is about politics. It makes a big difference when people who are just 10 years older than us come to talk about political issues. When she said ├óΓé¼╦£this is your time,’ that really made me think. I have been involved in my community and will continue to be involved in grassroots activism because it’s important.”
That it is! Just look how happy and politically savvy these kids are:

Lawrence’s Ohio tour continued with a town hall… er, a visit to a popular restaurant named Townhall, as she’s seen here on the eatery’s Instagram page posing with a group of fans:

The actress has previously spoken out on her political passion turning into an “obsession” as of late.
J.Law recently told Oprah she had “something to say” to all the political figures she sees on TV — and her speech “ends with a martini to the face.” Now that’s activism we could get behind!
