Jennifer Lopez & Ben Affleck Need 'Space From Each Other’ - They've Been Having 'Issues' For Months!

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck need more time to think about the future of their marriage!

As Perezcious readers know, the estranged couple no longer live together after the Argo star moved into a rental home weeks ago amid their rumored marital issues. While neither has addressed the divorce rumors, the tension between them is pretty clear as Ben never showed up to a single premiere for Jen’s new movie Atlas. In turn, she’s made some eyebrow-raising comments — and didn’t seem like her usual “bubbly” self on the red carpet. The Hustler star even liked a post about toxic partners when the split rumors began!

All signs point to trouble in paradise for Bennifer at this point! And they seem nowhere close to reconciling anytime soon! On Wednesday, a source confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that Ben and Jennifer still need “space from each other.” They also said the couple have been having problems in their relationship for quite some time now. They said:

“Jen and Ben are continuing to take space from each other. They’ve been having issues for a few months and trying to figure things out on their own.”

What they plan to do next is unknown! Many insiders also have gone back and forth over whether they will throw in the towel on their marriage. But for now, things aren’t sounding good for the pair as an Us Weekly source said this week that Ben has been “checked out” of their marriage. Yikes!

Of course, the drama hasn’t been easy on the stars, especially on Jennifer. Between the “stress” of her marriage troubles with the filmmaker and her career, the ET insider shared that the singer is having a tough time dealing with everything. To try to distract herself, J.Lo’s been focusing more on her work:

“Jen has been having a hard time dealing with the general stress of life as well as in her career. She has been experiencing ups and downs while processing everything. She has been throwing herself into work, which has always been an outlet for her to stay busy and distracted.”

On the bright side, Jennifer will get to distract herself some more when she heads out on tour next month. Not to mention that they’ll get more “space from each other” as they want!
