Jenny McCarthy hosts boxing event
Celebrities came out to support the World Series of Boxing benefit “Knockout Autism at Hollywood Fight Night with Jenny McCarthy” at the Avalon last night.
Along with Jenny hosting the event, Karina Smirnoff, Julie Benz, Natasha Bedingfield, and Omar Benson sat ringside watching the Los Angeles Matadors throw punches at the Memphis Force.
A portion of ticket costs went to the non-profit Generation Rescue, an organization comprised of parent-volunteers focused on biomedical treatment for autism.
Who are the Matadors? El Lay’s very own team comprised of the very best in amateur boxing competing in the international World Series of Boxing.
The global sports league has 12 teams throughout North America, Asia, and Europe. Individual champions from this league will earn an automatic berth for their country into the 2012 Olympic Games!
