'Jersey Shore Family Vacation' Trailer Teases The Situation Trial & JWoww Divorce Drama -- Watch!

Jersey Shore trailer teases situation's trial

From the looks of it, The Situation won’t be having much of a vacay in the new season of Jersey Shore Family Vacation.
MTV dropped the first look at the return of the beloved reality show on Thursday, which mostly centered around the lead up to Mike Sorrentino’s current… well, situation.
Some of the highlights from the minute-and-a-half long clip include Sitch’s November 2018 wedding to Lauren Pesce and his subsequent trial for tax evasion that resulted in him beginning an eight-month prison sentence in Otisville, New York.
One shot of Mike and Lauren walking out of a courtroom promises a much heavier season than fans are used to seeing.

But throughout it all, the shore fam bond has never been stronger. Pauly D tells the Situation in the clip:

“Whatever the outcome may be, we’re here for you throughout that whole process.”

They’re as thick as thieves!

Or tax evaders…

Unsurprisingly, the other star of the show this season is Jenni “JWoww” Farley, as her tumultuous divorce from Roger Mathews will also play out in the upcoming episodes.
At one point, a man’s voice (possibly her new boyfriend Zack Clayton Carpinello!?) tells the 33-year-old:

“You’re going through a divorce with somebody you love.”

To that point, JWoww says in a confessional:

“Moving on.”

Thankfully, other lighter, more traditional Jersey Shore moments are teased, too — including Deena Cortese’s pregnancy, an ill-fated canoe trip, and, of course, a drunk Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi falling over.
It all ends on a sentimental note, with The Situation saying:

“I’m so grateful that I’ve had these past 10 years to find friends that became family.”

That truly seems to be the case!
As we reported, the Jersey Shore cast (sans Sitch) revealed at the 2019 MTV Movie & TV Awards that they’ve grown closer to Sorrentino since he went to prison earlier this year. Deena told reporters on the red carpet:

“We really are a family. I consider them my sisters, brothers. It’s really a rewarding situation all around. We’re classy now, we have kids, but moms like to have fun still.”

And there’s still fun to be had, despite the more serious storylines this season.
MTV teased in the description:

“The roommates may be back, but a lot has changed, as the squad rallies around Sorrentino, who’s facing prison time and planning a wedding. At the same time, Deena’s about to give birth, Jenni’s contemplating divorce, Ronnie [Ortiz-Magro]’s fed up with all the jokes at his expense, and Pauly can’t resist just one wedding prank. Through the challenges and fears, pranks and surprise wedding guests, is the humor that keeps this group together and proves that facing life’s twists and turns is easier with friends.”

Sounds like fans will be in for a wild ride when season 3 premieres on July 11!
