By now you’ve all seen Jim Carrey’s “creepy” video love letter to Emma Stone. People are calling him out on crossing a line into Uncomfy Town with it, so he decided to respond to the haters via his Twitter.

First, he posted this:

“Yes, my msg to Emma Stone was a comedy routine and the funniest part is that everything i said is tru. www.jimcarreytrulife.com”

Okay, so that told us nothing – except that he wants to promote his website. Okay, fine. We’ll give him a second chance.

He then tweeted again today, saying:

“People often ask me if i’m being funny or serious. The answer is “YES”. ?;^]”

Okay, so that told us … NOTHING AGAIN!
