Right on, Jon! We want Eddie to do a great job as well!
During a recent interview, former Oscar host Jon Stewart opened up about Eddie Murphy as the next host, and he’s totally got the Tower Heist star’s back:
“Listen, the last person I would give advice to is Eddie Murphy. He’s gonna (effing) kill it. He’s the type of guy they haven’t had in a while. He’s a movie star, but he’s a great comic ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ sort of similar to Billy Crystal in his ‘multi-ability.'”
“With guys like me, you get the sense that at some level, deep down inside, we think it’s (effing) ridiculous. Now that can make for a very entertaining show. But it’s good to mix it up.”
We hope you’re right, Jon! We’d seriously LOVE to see Eddie kill it! And then we’d love to see him make some good movies again! LOLz!
