And he has earned our trust!
Mum is the word on S.H.I.E.L.D. but the flick it’s based on, The Avengers, dominated the summer and Joss Whedon‘s TV legacy extends as far back as Roseanne!
A small screen spin-off from one of the most successful movies ever is greatness guaranteed, right?
Joss won’t jump to conclusions just yet.
He argues you knew know with these sorts of things, how audiences might react, but you do what you can.
He admitted:
“[You can’t be sure what will happen but] what I do know is that it’s the show it should be, and we’ve got some really dope notions. It’s going to work very well for people who either love the Marvel universe or for people who’ve never dipped a toe in the Marvel universe.”
Dope notions?? We like it!
The ABC series has a chance to be one of the best ever but there’s a lot of work to be done first.
Joss revealed:
“The important thing to me is that we know what the show is. We love what it is. It came together very organically.”
We want to love it too!!
And we promise to… if you give us cameos from our favorite Avengers stars like Iron Man and Nick Fury, LOLz!
