Justin Timberlake is going back to his roots, y’all!
The Mirrors crooner has been keeping busy in the recording studio over the past few weeks collaborating with his A-list friends.
Last week, JT a photo on his Instagram working in the studio with longtime collab partner Pharrell Williams — but it looks like he’s adding some new faces to his musical posse!
On Sunday, the singer posted another recording studio snap accompanied by members of Little Big Town!

Sharing that he was writing music with the country band, Justin posted a selfie (above) with Girl Crush singers Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman, writing:
“NBD… Just writing with @littlebigtown This band is the truth!! So good!!!!”
Wait, is JT about to go country!?
The singer did perform a country rendition of his song Drink You Away with Chris Stapleton at the 2015 CMA Awards — so a country twist for his new album wouldn’t be coming out of left field.
And with the songwriting geniuses of LBT on his side, we wouldn’t oppose a country album from Timberlake — as long as he threw in a few club bangers for good measure!
