Karl Lagerfeld Has Opinions About The #MeToo Movement And He Wants Everyone To Hear Them

no title
Karl Lagerfeld has very shitty opinions about the #MeToo movement, and he DESPERATELY wants you to know what they are.
In an interview for Numero Magazine, Lagerfeld got right to the heart of the matter with interview Philip Utz, and it ain’t pretty.

On the #MeToo Movement, especially as it relates to modeling and fashion, here are Lagerfeld’s half-baked opinions (below):

“What shocks me most in all of this are the starlets who have taken 20 years to remember what happened. Not to mention the fact there are no prosecution witnesses.”

And he goes on to criticize the reasons for which women have come out recently (below), referencing a situation in which stylist Karl Templer was accused of sexual misconduct by models who claimed he “aggressively pulled down their underwear without asking them” in a piece published back in February in the Boston Globe:

“I read somewhere that now you must ask a model if she is comfortable with posing. It’s simply too much, from now on, as a designer, you can’t do anything. It’s unbelievable. If you don’t want your pants pulled about, don’t become a model! Join a nunnery, there’ll always be a place for you in the convent. They’re recruiting even!”

Wow. Thoughts, Perezcious readers?!
A bridge too far on this one, no? We know Lagerfeld is no stranger to controversy, but come on, man…
