By now everyone knows that Kat Von D stormed out of an interview because the hosts mentioned her split with ex Jesse James.
Unfortunately it’s caused some negativity for her, including a small twitter war with host Jillian Reynolds over the incident:
Kat: Dear GoodDayLA, thanks for the waste of a perfectly good morning. Lack of compassion n respect for eachother never fails to dissapoint me.
Jillian: @thekatvond We showed the clip your publicist sent. It showed you and Jesse. Were we not supposed to mention you broke up?
Kat: @askjillian I didn’t walk out because you used the clip we sent you- I walked out because of your disrespectful intro you guys “snuck” in.
Jillian: Why was it disrespectful? We said you guys broke up
Kat: @askjillian ps. Publicly disrespecting people for the sake of better ratings isn’t something a person of compassion does. Good day..
If we’re going to be honest, both sides were disrespectful. But she has chosen a life in the spotlight, so was she really surprised that it was mentioned?
It just seems like a waste of everyone’s time if you’re going to be so sensitive to the mention of current news on a news program during an interview you agreed to.
We hope everyone can just get along!
