Don’t be foul to Kate Upton just because she’s talking baseball.
The supermodel took to Twitter Wednesday to address fans who felt it was appropriate to make sexist comments in response to her complaint about an umpire’s call during the Houston Astros game that night.

After tweeting her frustration about the “bulls**t” call that cost the Astros a two run homer, the 26-year-old, who is married to Astros pitcher Justin Verlander, apparently received degrading replies from quite a few fans.
Here for it, Kate was not. She tweeted in response:
I feel the need to acknowledge & address the amount of people who have called me “princess”, “honey” or a terrible “girl” sports fan. Just because I have an opinion on the call doesn’t give you the right to be degrading & disrespectful because I’m a woman.

Some fans responded that, woman or not, Kate’s take on the play was wrong and she simply got called out for it.
But just a quick scan at some of her replies reveals a level of mansplanation that’s simply unsports-PERSON-like:
Our ruling? If you want to call out Kate Upton on her baseball tweets, do so without using a condescending “sweetie,” sweeties.
