Keira Knightley's Anna Karenina Is Pretty As A Painting, And Just As Exciting!

We adore classic Russian lit just as much as the next guy — which is to say, you know, a little — but we’re apprehensive about this Anna Karenina adapatation!
When we close our eyes and dream of 19th Century Russian aristocrats (as we often do) Keira Knightley and Jude Law aren’t usually invited to the party!
Still, the trailer (above) is visually STUNNING. We wouldn’t be surprised if it earned an art direction nod at the Oscars.
And director Joe Wright excelled with Hanna and Atonement so perhaps he deserves the benefit of the doubt!
We do hope they release Pussy Riot from prison in time for the premiere!!
