Khloé Kardashian, girl, what are you doing?!?!
Back on Monday night, we reported how over this past weekend, Khloé’s niece Dream Kardashian held an Instagram Live video streaming session during which she answered (or, uh, didn’t answer!) a variety of fan questions. Dream’s momma Angela White (FKA Blac Chyna) was right nearby on the call, and at one point, she popped in and informed fans alongside the 8-year-old girl that Chyna’s momma — and Dream’s grandmother — Tokyo Toni was spending the Thanksgiving holiday feeding the homeless! Nice, right?!

Well, Toni herself was active on IG a few days after Thanksgiving to share her own confirmation that she had indeed been feeding the homeless for the long holiday weekend! Over on her own IG post, TT showed off a video of all the food items she’d cooked and compiled to help those less fortunate:
So magnanimous!! And also… so selfish. Wait, HUH?! Giving back to the needy is selfish??
Let’s back up…
As Toni was updating followers on her push to help the needy over on IG, Khloé was simultaneously showing off a very lavish KarJenner Thanksgiving celebration. As you can see (below), the Good American founder didn’t hesitate to turn the luxury all the way up in her carousel of Thanksgiving-related family photos:
And then it got UGLY!! One astute commenter immediately connected Khloé’s high-end happenings to Tokyo Toni’s push to help the needy by writing this down in the comments:
“Y’all over here enjoying while dreams grandma is feeding the homeless”
Yikes! Not technically wrong, tho…
And the Revenge Body alum wasn’t down to ignore that little dig! In one comment, Khloé tagged the offending user and spouted off with a Bible verse that served as a not-so-subtle warning against pride:
“Watch out! ‘Don’t do your good deeds publicly, to be admired by others, for you will lose the reward from your Father in heaven’ Matthew 6:1-4.’ Just because we don’t post about it, doesn’t mean we aren’t doing it my love. Sending you love and blessings.”
And in a second comment, Khloé shared a longer reply that many fans took to be a pretty direct shot of shade at Toni’s do-good IG Thanksgiving work:
“and I am not knocking what anyone else chooses to show or keep to themselves. But personally, when people fall on hard times — I don’t feel it’s right to publicize that for my own personal pat on the back. Highlighting a charity or an organization that may need some awareness is one thing, but I don’t feel comfortable highlighting people when they’re at a low point in their lives. To each their own, l’m only speaking for myself.”

Uhhh that does NOT sit well with us. For real. Sorry, Khlo-money, just being honest…
Don’t get us wrong — we totally understand where Khloé is coming from with the idea that some people do perform acts of service only so they can post about it online and appear like they are good people in the minds of others. We get it! But Toni is out there feeding the homeless on Thanksgiving. That’s so admirable! And posting about it, if you have a platform like the Kardashians, would be good inspiration for others to do the same! Making it look cool!
And for Khloé to make like that’s being prideful or boastful or whatnot and the hundreds of workout vids and vacay pics and luxe party decorations aren’t? Khloé, girl, come ON! Ya don’t have a leg to stand on here! You could have just, like, not said anything about it if you really feel some type of way!

It’s even crazier to see all this play out when you look back at the story of Shorty. Old-school KUWTK fans know exactly who we are talking about there. Shorty was a homeless man who appeared in an episode of the very first season of the fam’s pre-Hulu reality show waaaaaaay back in 2007. In fact, an entire episode was dedicated to Khloé befriending the older man and helping to get him back on his feet!
And then 14 years later, during the 2021 final season of KUWTK, Khloé hosted Shorty on screen for a follow-up episode, too! Soooo there she was (twice) doing exactly what she’s now criticizing Toni for doing. Make it make sense!!! Reactions, y’all??
