Another summer is coming to an end, and parents everywhere are getting excited to go back-to-school shopping and get their kids out of the house!
But for first time students, the concept of leaving your home everyday to be taught by a stranger can be a bit daunting!

KTLA reporter Courtney Friel was reminded how overwhelming first time education can be when she asked Andrew Macias if he was excited for his first day of kindergarten!
The 4-year-old was initially enthusiastic about the new opportunity of starting out at City Terrace Elementary School.
But after the reporter asked if he was going to miss his mom, the brand new kindergartener was faced with a harsh reality check — and started crying!
