Friends are important in more ways than one.
One reason is your social health, obviously.
Now, research suggests it could impact your kids’ physical health, as well!
A new study from Vanderbilt University show that when children have friends that are more physically active they themselves are more likely to follow suit.
Translation?
If your kid has active friends then there’s more of a chance your little one won’t be a couch potato!
Here’s what one researcher said:

“I’ve noticed that the more active a social network kids have, the more likely they are to be physically active. Socializing is a happy thing for kids and it prevents boredom.”

Wow!
Good to know!
Parents make sure you reinforce how important it is for them to choose good friends.
They probably won’t listen to you, but at least they’ll know!
