According to the Wall Street Journal, there was another heavenly body that people were even MORE interested in than seeing Kim K naked!
Its name? 67P/Churyumov-Gerasimenko. But you might know it better as the comet on which we landed the Rosetta spacecraft!
Based on Twitter numbers, #BreakTheInternet and “Kardashian” got a total of 307,782 tweets in 24 hours.
Not bad at all, but over that same period, #CometLanding and “comet” soared well above that with 479,434!
Not only was the scientific breakthrough a bigger story; it was more popular too!
According to the same analytics, Kim K’s tweets were approximately 43% positive, whereas the comet landing tweets were 64% positive!
Frankly, we wonder about people who are going to hate on both Kim K’s bare booty AND a spacecraft landing on a comet, but whatevs.
