In a recent promo of her chat with Dr. Phil, Kim Richards was seen angrily leaving the room because she was visibly upset by a bombardment of questions from her kids and the host.
So, did she completely storm out of the interview and leave everyone hanging — or did the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star just needed to take a little breather??

Well, wonder no more because Dr. Phil is here to explain what went down — sorta! He still needs to leave some things for the actual interview that airs on Tuesday!
The 64-year-old opened up to Extra about the explosive talk and even gave viewers an insight into people who are addicts and alcoholics.
He said:
“Addicts and alcoholics are great at deflecting, and I think she’s shown a lot of that behavior. I’m not real good at letting people do that; as a result I think that can be very frustrating when you don’t let people wiggle, and I don’t let people wiggle. I didn’t let her wiggle, and think it was very frustrating for her.”
The psychologist also commented about the specific scene where Kim stormed out of the room, angrily asking if he and her kids were holding an intervention for her.

Dr. Phil said about the scene:
“Well, I’ll let people decide whether this was a storm-out or an anxiety storm, but again, when that’s their stock and trade of deflect, change the subject, control, manipulate, and you take those things away from them, they kind of run out of coping energy, and I think when it happens, you’ve gotta have a big anxiety rush ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ and I think that’s a lot of what’s going on.”
Hm. Guess we’ll just see what happens when the interview airs!
